Men’s Sober Living

New Points men’s sober living is a structured program rooted in the principles of recovery.  We believe that men in early recovery need support, guidance, accountability, and a sense of belonging which is critical to provide a strong foundation for long-term sobriety.

We strive to create an atmosphere that is safe and accepting which enables men to regain their confidence through the development of friends, recovery connections, fitness, and a sense of community.

New Points Expectations:

We ask all men enrolled in this program to either return to the workforce or be enrolled in school throughout their stay with us. In addition, our residents will be expected to adhere to the following:

  • Engage daily in a recovery program and work with a sponsor in that program.

  • Be awake, showered and have a presentable bedroom by 10am each morning.

  • Complete a daily accountability check-in with another assigned member of the community.

  • Adhere to a curfew of 11:00 p.m. the first 30 days and then midnight thereafter.  This is contingent upon the following criteria:

    • Acquiring and maintaining active sponsorship.

    • Establishing involvement in a 12-step program.

    • Acquiring and maintaining employment.

  • Complete a daily chore.

  • Be present for our weekly community night dinner and meeting.

  • Fulfill all continuing care recommendations given by the referring treatment center.
